Operated by Abellio London History The H26 started life in August 1993 with sponsorship from London Borough of Hounslow, the idea being to provide a bus service to the Bedfont Lakes area. Buses ran from Hatton Cross to Sparrow Farm Estate in Feltham via Heathrow Terminal 4, Bedfont Green, Bedfont Road and Feltham High Street. The Sparrow Farm section was taken over from route H25. Although the terminals remain the same, buses now run via Hatton Road, thus missing out Terminal 4, and have also been diverted via some extra side roads in the Feltham area. The route was operated by Capital Coaches of Heathrow, this being its first London Transport bus route contract, and indeed its only one for several years. The company_s main business was coaching and airside work at Heathrow and Gatwick Airports, but three wheelchair accessible Mercedes minibuses were bought for the H26. The company retained the route on re-tendering in November 1996, and a few months later the route was diverted via the Guildford Avenue area of Feltham. In October 1997 Capital Coaches purchased Whyte_s Airport Services and renamed itself Capital Logistics. Capital Logistics was itself bought up by its rather smaller neighbour Tellings-Golden Miller in June 1999, and the Capital Logistics identity and livery was eventually eliminated. From the start buses had run on Mondays to Saturdays only, but there was some limited demand for transport to the Feltham Young Offenders_ Centre in the middle of Bedfont Road, so from March 1998 Sunday afternoons-only route H24 was added. Buses ran between the Centre and Feltham Station, where they were timed to connect with trains _ a rarity in London. Capital Logistics provided the bus. In November 1999 a further new contract for the H26 was commenced, and the opportunity was sensibly taken to incorporate the H24 into the H26, the H26 thus becoming daily. In addition the route was diverted via Hatton Road as mentioned above, and new Darts- which still run the route today were introduced within a few months. History, Last Updated 19th November 2009.

Before Metrobus_ acquisition of First Centrewest on 8th December 2007, the depot was home to routes R1, R3, R4, R6, R9, R11 & T32. The routes were all transferred to Orpington (MB), except T32 which was transferred to Metrobus_ Croydon depot.

The route was operated from Greenford Garage (G). The current PVR was Monday to Friday 3RW and Saturday 2RW. A few years later on the 24th May 1997 the E4 was withdrawn. The Monday to Saturday route was from New Cross Clifton Rise, Trundleys Road, Surrey Docks, Galleywall Road, Southwark Park Road, St James's Road, Surrey Docks, Trundleys Road and New Cross Clifton Rise, this was a circular route and on Sundays ran between New Cross Clifton Rise, Trundleys Road, Surrey Docks, Rotherhithe New Road and Old Kent Rd Canal Bridge. The current PVR was Monday to Friday 5MBS, Saturday 3MBS and Sunday 2MBS. On the 3rd July 1971 the route was converted to SMS type buses. A few years later on the 27th October 1978, the route was withdrawn and replaced by route P5. Last Updated 29th January 2009

Operated By Arriva London History: The 319 began on the 8th February 1993, and was operated by South London Transport at Brixton Garage. The route ran from Sloane Square to Streatham Hill which it does today. The 319 was brought into action because part of the 219 was withdrawn between Sloane Square and Battersea and the 349 between Chelsea and Streatham Hill. It was ran by Titans. The PVR Monday to Fridays was 17T and on Saturday it was 14T, there was no Sunday service for the 319. By 1993 the titans were replaced by Metrobuses but the PVR numbers stayed the same. In late 1996 a Sunday service had started up because the 249 had parts of the route withdrawn. When the route was running on a Sunday they decided to convert it to small deck with LDR_s running on the 319, now it was operated by Cowie South London LTD from BN. They upped the PVR to 16 LDR Monday to Saturday and on Sunday there was 10 LDR_s running. During August 1998, Arriva London South took over the operation of the 319, they brought some brand new low floor darts for the route, the garage and PVR were kept the same. In 2001 Arriva decided to buy some more new buses for the 319 called DWL_s which replaced the DDL_s, these were allocated to another Arriva garage. In 2003 Arriva decided to up the PVR to 19 DWL_s Monday to Saturday and Sunday was allocated 11 DWL_s, but sometimes the odd DLA occurred. By 2006 it was converted to Double Deck operation The current PVR is 19DLA Monday to Saturday and Sunday 11DLA. The average journey time is between 40-70 minutes. Operated by Metrobus History: The route 202 began on the 9th November 1991, and provided a service between Crystal Palace and Blackheath (via Sydenham Hill, Perry Hill, Catford and Blackheath Village). Some garage journeys also continued onto Plumstead Garage, which was one of the operating garages for the 202. The route was introduced to replace the 108B and the route 75 (to Blackheath). The two operating garages were Plumstead (PD) and Catford (TL). The current PVR was Monday to Friday 9MA (PD), Saturday 9MA (PD) and Sunday 3MW (TL). On the 20th June 1992 part of the service was now re-routed around Sydenham (via Westwood Hill) between Monday and Saturday and this was also re-numbered route 306, this run jointly with the 202. The Monday to Saturday PVR was increased 2 11MA. On the 22nd May 1993 the MA type buses were replaced by the MRL type (Monday to Saturday) The PVR allocations stayed the same. By the 12th February 1994 the Catford allocation was withdrawn, so Plumstead garage were left with the route. The current PVR was Monday to Saturday 11MRL and Sunday 7MRL. On the 29th September 1996 the MRL type was withdrawn and replaced by the DAL type. The current PVR was Monday to Saturday 12DAL and Sunday 7DAL. On the 21st September 2001 it was the start of a new contract, and Stagecoach, new low floor single deck buses were brought for the route. The current PVR was Monday to Saturday 13SLD and Sunday 10SLD. On the 15th February 2003 the allocation was transferred to Catford garage (TL) and they used DM type buses. On the 13th September 2008 Metrobus won the contract from Selkent (formerly Stagecoach). The route was operates from their Croydon base, and the company are waiting for there new single decks to be delivered in the meantime some odd double decks are working on the 202. The route was operated by London Central and this new route replaced the withdrawn section of the 21 between Lewisham and Swanley/West Kingsdown. The route was a single deck route which was operated from 2 garages, New Cross NX and Bexleyheath BX. The current PVR was Monday to Saturday 11LDP from BX and 5 LDP from NX and Sunday 7LDP from BX and 4LDP from NX. On the 24th February 2001 the Sunday BX allocation was withdrawn and replaced by extra buses allocated at NX. The current PVR was Monday to Saturday 14LDP from BX and 3LDP from NX and Sunday 9LDP from NX. On the 23rd February 2002 the BX allocation was withdrawn and replaced by a full time NX allocation. The current PVR was Monday to Friday 17LDP, Saturday 16LDP and Sunday 8LDP. Throughout January 2003 the route was converted to Low floor Double Deck. The current PVR is Monday to Friday 19PVL, Saturday 18PVL and Sunday 11PVL. The average journey time is between 34 and 78 minutes. The route ran between Monday and Friday daytime from Acton Bromyard and Hammersmith, Monday to Friday Evenings ran from Acton Bromyard and Brentford, Monday to Friday Peaks ran between Acton Bromyard and Clapham Junction, Saturday daytime ran from Hanwell Broadway to Hammersmith and Saturday evenings ran from Hanwell Broadway and Brentford and lastly Sunday daytime ran from Hanwell Broadway to Brentford. The route was operated from Hanwell Garage HL, by Routemasters. The current PVR was Monday to Friday 19RM, Saturday 6RM and Sunday 2RM. On the 11th October 1961 there were some changes to the routing of the 255, ACTON Bromyard Avenue (MF daytime) - HANWELL BROADWAY (MF evenings/Sat/Sun) BRENTFORD (MS evenings/Suns) - HAMMERSMITH BROADWAY (MS daytime) - CLAPHAM JUNCTION (MF peaks). The current PVR was Monday to Friday 18RM, Saturday 6RM and Sunday 2RM. On the 3rd October 1965 there were some major changes to the 255 as the route was withdrawn Saturday_s and Sunday_s, and the weekday service had some route changes, HANWELL BROADWAY (MF peaks) - TURNHAM GREEN (MF daytime) - HAMMERSMITH BROADWAY (MF evenings) - CLAPHAM JUNCTION (MF). The operation was also transferred to Riverside Garage R. The current PVR was Monday to Friday 10RM. On the 31st December 1966 a Saturday and Sunday service was re-introduced between Hammersmith and Clapham Junction. The current PVR was Monday to Friday 10RM, Saturday 5RM and Sunday 4RM. On the 30th November 1968 the route was withdrawn between Gunnersbury Roundabout and Hanwell Broadway and was replaced by route E1. The current route was GUNNERSBURY ROUNDABOUT (MF peaks*) - TURNHAM GREEN (MF daytime) - HAMMERSMITH (MF evenings/Sat/Sun) - CLAPHAM JUNCTION * Westbound am / Eastbound pm. The current PVR was Monday to Friday 8RM, Saturday 5RML and Sunday 4RML. On the 15th February 1969 the Sunday service was withdrawn and replaced by the new route 19A, the current PVR was Monday to Friday 9RM and Sunday 5RML. On the 19th July 1969 there was a slight change to the route, GUNNERSBURY ROUNDABOUT (MF peaks/lunchtime*) - TURNHAM GREEN (MF daytime) - HAMMERSMITH (MF evenings/Sat) - CLAPHAM JUNCTION (MS) * Westbound am / Eastbound pm. The current PVR was Monday to Friday 8RM and Saturday 4RML. On the 2nd January 1971 the Lunchtime service to Gunnersbury Roundabout was withdrawn. The current route was GUNNERSBURY ROUNDABOUT (MF peaks*) - TURNHAM GREEN (MF daytime) - HAMMERSMITH (MF evenings/Sat) - CLAPHAM JUNCTION (MS). The current PVR was Monday to Friday 6RM and Saturday 3RML. On the 17th June 1972 the 255 was withdrawn. Last Updated 24th April 2007

The current route was from Edgware Station and Harrow Bus Station. The current PVR was Monday to Friday 8M and Saturday 9M. History: The route 9A began on the 18th July 1992 and was introduced to replace route 9 between Hammersmith and Mortlake as a weight limit was introduced on Hammersmith Bridge. The route 9A ran between Mortlake and Kensington (via Barnes, Hammersmith and Olympia). The route was operated at Wood Lane Garage (B). The current PVR was Monday to Friday 18DR and Saturday 11DR. There was no Sunday service on the 9A. On the 23rd October 1993 the evening service was re-numbered route 9 and was extended to Aldwych. All the bus route journeys were also revised to stop at Hammersmith Bus Station. The current route was Mortlake to Kensington (Mon-Sat Except eves). The current PVR was Monday to Friday 22DR and Saturday 14DR. On the 1st April 1995 the allocation was transferred to Shepherds Bush Garage (S) as Wood Lane had closed. By the 20th May 1995 a Fulwell (FW) garage allocation was introduced as well as a Shepherds Bush (S). This was due to a shortage of drivers at Shepherds Bush. The current PVR was Monday to Friday 16DR (S) 6DR (FW) and Saturday 8DR (S) 6DR (FW). By the 22nd July 1995 the Fulwell allocation was withdrawn. Monday 26 February 2007: 354- BROMLEY NORTH, Bromley South, Hayesford Estate, Hayes, Coney Hall, Addington, Forestdale, Selsdon, Croham Road, CROYDON Fairfield Halls. Last Operated by Metrobus. The route 354 began on the 16th August 1986 and provided a Monday to Friday Service between Bromley North and Selsdon (Via Addington). The route was operated independently by Metrobus from their only garage at Orpington (MB). The route did not run in the evenings. On the 31st October 1987 the 354 was extended from Selsdon to Croydon (Fairfield Halls), but the route still only ran Monday to Friday except evenings as most people go shopping on Saturdays. By the 13th May 1989 Metrobus decided to introduce a Saturday service but still except evenings. On the 27th April 1991 an evening service was introduced between Croydon and Forestdale and Bromley (except evenings). On the 21st November 1992 the evening service was introduced on the Forestdale to Bromley section. A few years later on the 30th March 1996 the 354 was introduced a Sunday service between Croydon and Forestdale. Due to the tramlink coming into service in 2000 a lot of bus routes were revised but unfortunately the 354 was withdrawn on the 19th May 2000. Last Updated 26th February 2007

Route 411 (West Molesey - Kingston)

Wednesday 21 February 2007: Route 411 - West Molesey - Hampton Court - Kingston. Operated By Transdev History The route 411 began on the 29th October 1994, the route was introduced to replace the withdrawn section of the 131. The route was operated by Westlink from there Kingston Garage (K). Westlink mainly used Leyland Titans throughout there time operating the route. On the 25th September 1995, a new contract started with London United so the operation transferred to Fulwell Garage (FW). The current PVR was Monday to Saturday 4M and Sunday 2M. On the 29th May 1999, the Monday to Saturday allocation was transferred to Kingston Garage. This only lasted a year until the allocation was back at Fulwell for a daily Allocation. The current PVR was on the 13th May 2000, Monday to Friday 4M, Saturday 5M and Sunday 2M. Throughout August 2000 the 411 was converted too low floor single deck operation. On the 27th January 2001, the allocation was back at Kingston (K) and an additional school journey was introduced, and which diverted at Hampton Wick so the bus reached Teddington School. The Current PVR was Monday to Friday 4M/ 1MV/XL, Saturday 4M and Sunday 3M.A few months later on the 30th June 2001 the Monday to Saturday allocation was transferred back to Fulwell. The current PVR was Monday to Friday 5M (FW), Saturday 4M (FW) and Sunday 3M (K). A couple of months later on the 3rd November 2001 the Sunday Kingston allocation was transferred to Fulwell, The VA class buses were also introduced. On the 29th June 2002, the Fulwell allocation was withdrawn and transferred to Hounslow Heath Garage (HH), still being operated by London United. The current PVR was Monday to Friday, 5VA, Saturday 6VA and Sunday 3VA. On the 1st October 2005, London United retained the contract for the 411 along with the school route 641 (which was originally the 411 school journey). The PVR was also increased to Monday to Saturday 6VA and Sunday 4VA. A month later, the route was converted to single deck operation, the current PVR is Monday to Saturday 6DPS and Sunday 4DPS. This route was enforced as this replaced the withdrawn section of the 131 between West Molesey and Walton. The route was operated by SMS type which was one person operation. The route was operated from Norbiton Garage (NB). The current PVR was Monday to Friday 5SMS and Saturday 4SMS. On the 28th October 1972 the route was diverted to Hurst Park Estate, there were no other changes. By the 10th April 1976 the 211 was diverted at West Molesey via Field Common Estate. The current PVR was Monday to Friday 7SMS and Saturday 4SMS. On the 28th January 1978 a Sunday service was introduced, there were a few slight changes to the 211_s route, as the route was extended from Kingston to Tolworth Broadway and the Sunday service ran between Tolworth and Kingston only. The current PVR was Monday to Friday 7SMS, Saturday 5SMS and Sunday 3SMS. On the 15th July 1979 the route was converted to double deck operation using Metrobuses. The current PVR was Monday to Friday 7M, Saturday 5M and Sunday 3M. On the 4th September 1982 the Sunday service was withdrawn.
